Tom Bragdon, Pastor

Pastor Bragdon accepted the call to Leagueville Baptist Church in January of 1994 after having served here as Associate Pastor and Youth Minister from 1989 to 1992.  He served as a missionary in Japan from 1979 to 1989, there establishing the Bethel Baptist Church in Himeji City.  He is a native of Northern Indiana and was a charter member of Bethel Baptist Church in Porter, Indiana. He and his wife, Lynnetta, have been married since 1978 and have five children, Justin, Jason, Joshua, Jill, and Jared.  Justin graduated from Texas A&M with a Master’s in Architecture. He married Beth Dungan in 2007 and serves as Leagueville’s Youth Minister as well as teaching at Brownsboro Jr. High School.  Jason graduated from Stephen F. Austin then went to The Ohio State University where he received his Master’s in Chemistry.  He married Keri Schultz in 2008 and resides in Columbus, Ohio.  Joshua graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management from Texas A&M.  He currently teaches and coaches at Brownsboro I.S.D.  Jill graduated from Texas A&M in 2011 with a degree in Visual Studies and graphic design.  Jared attends Brownsboro High School with plans of attending Texas A&M upon graduation.

Pastor Bragdon believes in the need for practicality in preaching.  He is committed by conviction to the authority of the Scriptures. His messages and lessons are designed, through Biblical exposition to be useable, challenging, and nurturing.  

Sunday Lunch

For those who choose, there is a themed lunch every Sunday in the gym.  Everyone brings their favorite dishes, and together we enjoy great food and fellowship.
